Strength Training

Self Defense for Women
Self defence sessions covering all aspects of self defence for women. Get fit and learn something that hopefully you should never need to use. Course is dynamic and flexible to cater for all ages and is based on common self defence techniques and targets. a typical session will include …warmup excercises, cardio, pad work, techniques with application (focusing on a new area each week but practicing everything from the start) and cool downs. Wear suitable clothing for a workout noting that you could be on your back on the ground for some sessions. No high kicks.
Sessions will cover getting out of grabs, holds, unarmed and armed self defence to allow you to get away from a bad situation. Sessions are flexible based on experience of the group and numbers and sorted out prior to the start of each session. So if there is something you want to work on specifically just mention it.
Saturday 10-12 noon

Belly Dancing
A fun and musical way to get fit. First class only $12!
Friday 6:30-8:30pm

Pilates/Yoga
Pilates/Yoga classes use a range of unique exercises designed to tone and shape muscles and strengthen the body core for improved posture, whilst increasing and developing flexibility.
(Requirements: soft clothing, soft-soled shoes such as ballet or jiffies, a foam mat)

Tai Chi
Reduce stress through slow movements. Combine yoga and meditation.

Tiny Lives First Aid
If you’re a parent, this fantastic First Aid course will teach you how to treat injuries and ailments in your child using standard first aid procedures modified for small children. Always be prepared for any occurrence with your little one!
