In 2005, an old kindergarten narrowly missed being turned into a townhouse. It was saved from demolition by a fiery group of local mums and instead transformed into a friendly multipurpose neighbourhood...
The Neighbourhood House has become a community hub, engaging, working with and responding to our growing community. Here at Notting Hill Neighbourhood House you can find a vertical garden, street library, street pantry and much more!
Learn about the rich history of our little suburb in the project by Daniel Muenzner and the Notting Hill History Group: “Memories of a Village”, a well-written piece capturing a slice of life in Notting Hill in the late 2000s.
A diverse range of classes and events are held all year round at Notting Hill Neighbourhood House. Our venue can be hired by the public for community-based or cultural meetings and events.
