Food Relief Students

TERM 2: Fri 29 Apr – Fri 24 Jun (12pm – 3pm)

The Notting Hill Neighbourhood House community have banded together to provide support in the form of Food Relief funded by the Victorian government. Students can pick up a delicious meal from our welcoming and friendly community house which is only a 5 min walk from the Monash University Clayton campus.

On the day you will have the option to choose from ‘Curry Chicken’ or ‘Vegetarian Noodles’

(See below for the ingredients list).

Please bring a standard 800mls to 1 litre container (or there abouts).

For curry chicken, you can also bring a 400mls second container if you would like to keep rice separate. Otherwise, you can bring one container and we’ll put rice on one side (See below image for guidance).

CURRY CHICKEN INGREDIENTS

  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • White pepper
  • Oil
  • Onions
  • Chicken stock
  • Lemongrass
  • Tomatoes
  • Cinnamon sticks
  • Star anise
  • Whole cloves
  • Pandan leaves
  • Chilli powder
  • Dried shrimp
  • Coconut cream
  • Curry sauce
  • Salt
  • Sugar

VEGETARIAN NOODLES

  • Dried shiitake mushrooms
  • Egg noodles
  • Dried wood ear fungus
  • Chinese cabbage
  • Carrots
  • Vegetarian oyster sauce
  • Soya sauce
  • Salt
