NANDINI – MANAGER

Hi, with a background in community development and engagement, I have a keen interest in how the communities can work with local governemnts to create participatory spaces. I have worked with NHNH over the past year, and am looking forward to contributing to my community . If you have any suggestions or ideas about what could be done here, please come down and share them over a cuppa.


NAOMI – ACCOUNTS

Hi, as a local resident, married with two children, I am interested in community engagement and development. Specialising in accounts and bookkeeping, I work within local community organisations. I look forward to seeing you at Notting Hill Neighbourhood House.


BINH – COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT OFFICER

Hi, a local Monash resident, and having been with Notting Hill Neighbourhood House for almost 4 years, I am passionate about community development. Engaging with various stakeholders and community members, I develop and implement strategies / programs aimed at achieving social inclusion and life long learning. I have a young family and love meeting new people – so pop in and say hi!


JENNY – COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

Hi, as a local resident, having grown up in Notting Hill (Even going to kindergarten in the now community centre) I am eager to get to know more of my neighbours and grow community engagement at NHNH. I am currently completing my bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Arts, I am keen to apply and develop my marketing skills to help grow NHNH’s community base and online platforms. OUR VOLUNTEERS

GEORGE – ADMINISTRATION AND EVENTS VOLUNTEER

My name is George Tissainayagam. I am a retired public servant. I have two grown up children and two grandchildren. I have been volunteering at NHNH since September 2016, working 2 days a week. I assist in administrative duties such as maintaining statistical data of class attendance and tutors information. I also help in organising NHNH activities such as Food & Fun Friday events. I am volunteering in order to spend my retired life usefully and to serve the community.
