AUG 18TH: FRIDAY FUN FOOD NIGHT – TRAVEL, WHERE SHALL WE GO!
On a very rainy Friday 18th August, NHNH hosted its Friday Fun Food Night, with a them of Travel- where shall we go! Serving an array of yummy foods including an Irish Stew, Chinese Hot Pot and Singapore Noodles, followed by desert, locals conversed and shared their meal. While chitter chatter bounced around the House, kids squealed and giggled while playing fun games and meeting new little friends.
NHNH would like to thank everyone for coming out on such a rainy night, and making this evening one to remember.
JULY 1ST: NOTTING HILL NEIGHBOURHOOD HOUSE OPEN DAY
On Saturday July 1st, Notting Hill Neighbourhood House celebrated another year with its annual Open Day. Here, local community members and tutors got to meet-up and chat, plus engage in numerous program try-outs (sewing, yoga) while kids engaged in various fun activities including face painting, kids craft corner, tutored programs (Art and Cooking), and bounced upon the jumping castle.
We would to like to send out a special thanks to all our staff, tutors, local community and both Monash Deputy Mayor Stuart James and local MP Steve Dimopoulos for attending, engaging and being part of our special day.
