We had a lovely time at our first Holi Party at NHNH. It was an evening dedicated to colour, laughter, friends and food. Kids had little colouring corners around the house, a face painting session, and a story telling session. The highlight of the evening was the delicious Indian dinner prepared by our volunteers. Thank you all for coming and joining in the revelry! We hope to see you at more of these events.
On Saturday 3rd of Nov, just a few days before the big race, NHNH held their summer Bunnings BBQ. It was a busy busy day, but we sizzled, flipped and served yummy snags with all the trimmings. It was a fun day had by all, and we appreciate everyone’s support, particular those volunteers who lent a hand at the event. We made a little extra money, that will go towards supporting our upcoming free Sustainable Sewing Workshop and purchase a few items for house use.
Celebrating all things weird and wonderful, NHNH hosted our Halloween Party event. Amongst numerous activities such as Eyeball Golf, Witches Hooky, Ghost Bowling, Trick or Treat bag making (complete with treats) and of course of speciality Halloween Feast, our local ghosts, goblins, princesses and all kinds of trick or treats dressed children and adults had fun and revelled in Halloween. We would like to thank all of our volunteers and staff who contributed their time and ideas to make this evening a success.
We had an amazing turn out! Thank you for coming and for all the volunteers that offered their help. We’re glad everyone liked our soups, pizzas and hot chocolate. Follow us on Facebook to stay updated on future events! Remember we’re always looking for volunteers so if you are interested contact us!
