Local neighbours Lucas and Jenny organised and hosted a Succulent Plant Potting Workshop as a part of our Neighbourhood House Week Celebrations!
To promote sustainability, we up-cycled old mugs, jars and bowls from the centre and from donations to use as pots, even drilling in a drainage hole! Lucas and Jenny showcased various stunning arrangements of succulent pot planting, incorporating stones, layered soil, and carefully positioning the succulents for a beautiful aesthetic.
The workshop was a hit, with a full class of neighbours enjoying a relaxing evening and taking home multiple unique and colourful succulent plant pot arrangements.
We are incredibly grateful to Lucas and some of our fellow neighbours who donated a variety of succulents from their personal gardens. Their contributions made this community workshop even more special and diverse.
If you’d like to show your support for the valuable work we do at NHNH, we kindly ask for your donations. Your generosity will help us continue providing meaningful programs and services to our community.
This FREE event is running during Neighbourhood House Week (8 – 14 May).
