Our caring together program provides opportunities for unpaid carers in the community to connect with other carers, learn about available resources, share experiences, improve their wellbeing through fitness, and explore creative opportunities for self-care. Through our work readiness program carers can improve their job seeking skills and knowledge and explore opportunities for work.
This program is for anyone who is providing unpaid support to family or friends who have a disability, mental illness, chronic condition, terminal illness, an alcohol or drug issue or who are frail aged. They may help with daily activities such as personal care, medication or transport, provide emotional and social support, organise and attend appointments, and help with shopping.
